Job Description

The Marketing Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue from clients by creating full service marketing plans. The candidate will accurately determine the customer direct marketing needs and budgets, provide suggestions and ideas for additional revenue opportunities, and ensure appropriate channels have been attained. This position will also establish and build positive relationships with Company clients and team members from various divisions

Essential Job Functions:

1. Use consultative marketing sales techniques to explore customer needs and offer suggestions for enhancing marketing efforts of the customer.

2. Respond to incoming calls generated through Company catalogs, space ads, referrals, or other mechanism, and make calls to prospective or existing customers as needed to generate and promote value add and related products.

3. Communicate and update timeline expectations and project specifications.

4. Collaborate with clients and internal departments. Work effectively with the creative design and account teams.

5. Act as a subject matter expert on Company marketing services.

6. Communicate recommendations to facilitate processes and increase cost effectiveness.

7. Generate quality marketing ideas quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.

8. Provide exceptional customer service.

9. Troubleshoot client issues. Resolve problems or escalate as needed.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of sales and marketing practices and procedures.

2. Must work well in team and individual settings.

3. Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the Company and with various business contacts outside of the Company in an articulate, professional manner.

4. Strong written communication skills and presentation skills.

5. Strong ability to negotiate basic business terms of Company contracts and close sales.

6. Must be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining integrity or work product.

7. Ability to build productive business relationships with clients and meet goals.

8. Knowledge of direct marketing practices and products.

9. A professional and outgoing manner.

10. Exceptional customer relational skills.

11. Working knowledge of Office programs, such as Word and Excel.

Education, Experience, and Certification:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related experience preferred.

2. Direct marketing or mail experience is preferred.

3. 2+ years sales experience
