Machine Operator

• Up to $20-$25+/hr depending on experience + full benefits.

• 1st shift: (7:00am-3:00pm)
• 2nd shift: (3:00pm-11:00pm)
• 3rd shift: (11:00pm-7:00am)

• Come join our team! We currently have multiple exciting Permanent (Direct Hire) opportunities in Cockeysville, MD for Machine Operators to set up, operate and maintain production equipment, machines and tools using process documents, diagrams, and written instructions.

• Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment, machines and tools using process documents, diagrams, and written instructions.
• Operate winding, welding, punching, and stacking equipment and become proficient in each machine's operations.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition utilizing 6S standards while following all safety requirements.
• Inspect machine outputs using precision measurement tools to include, calipers, micrometers, meters, and vision systems.
• Follow instructions per process specs while manufacturing materials for use in high power cells and batteries.
• Possess the desire and aptitude to become proficient in operating additional complex machinery.
• Work in an environment where adhering to safety policies and procedures are required as well as consistently utilizing safe work practices.

• 3-5+ years Manufacturing experience running machinery.
• Proven experience running complex machinery and producing products of high quality.
• Ability to install materials and setup machine(s) utilizing precise settings such as speed, tension, power, and various other criteria.
• The ability to comprehend written instructions and to clearly document and record the results of the work that you perform.
• Possess great organizational skills and maintain an organized workstation to optimize product flow to feed downstream stations.
• Possess a keen eye for detail and be able to notice small variances in processes and materials that may affect final product quality.
• Communicate clearly and accurately to describe in detail any machine or product issues that may have occurred and possess the ability to communicate this information to all levels of personnel.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work either independently or as part of a team.
• Problem solving skills that permit diagnosing and correcting of issues that may occur during machine operation.
• Possess the ability and willingness to rapidly learn and understand the tasks assigned.
• Medically and physically capable to work in this position due to the presence of strong magnets and chemicals.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills with some proficiency of Excel and database usage
• Outstanding attendance history.

• PPE requirements include safety glasses, steel toed shoes and full body gowns.
• Work environment will be in a dry room where cooled and low humidity air is constantly present.
• This position will require standing for most of each day.
• Be available to work overtime as schedules occasionally require.

• High School diploma or equivalent. Additional schooling or training in a technical field is a plus.
