What You'll Do in This Position

The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $18.00, and may increase based on major and class standing.

Perform limited research, experiments, calculations and
field studies under direction of more experienced Health
Physics Services (HPS) professionals. Participate in
development and implementation of radiation safety
program improvements. Assist in evaluation of and
application of health physics instrumentation. Develop
technical documents of limited scope.

Qualifications We Require

Currently pursuing a degree from a 4 year college or
university in Health Physics or other related degree. Must
have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year
college or university, or within one year after finishing a
degree program.
Must have completed freshman year of college.
Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General
Employee Training and substance abuse processing.
