Position Summary: This position works closely with regional Finance Directors to develop & maintain a Bakery Finance Playbook, ensuring consistent analysis across the bakeries. Significant responsibilities include developing Financial Tools and SOPs, setting expectations for Bakery Finance Leaders, & managing deliverables. This position will manage a team that can support open Bakery Finance positions and partner in training new hires.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business Partner for Regional Manufacturing Finance Leadership, providing support and direction for the Bakery Finance Leaders
  • Set direction for a Bakery Finance Playbook, a "One Way / Right Way" of what a Bakery Finance Leader should do, creating consistency across BBU
  • Working closely with the bakery leadership to identify opportunities to drive efficiency across BBU
  • Develop training plan for continuous training for Bakery Finance Leaders, ensuring expectations and requirements are understood and met
  • Drive standardization of processes and support across manufacturing
  • Develop communication plan for effective communication of new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining consistency across BBU
  • Manage a team that ensures continuity / sustainability / flexibility of Bakery Finance structure by supporting open positions and providing on-boarding support for new hires, including travel to various bakeries as needed
  • Backfill & Support, as needed, open Bakery Finance Leader role.
  • Optimize / Develop / Improve Work Teams

Education / Experience:

  • 7+ years' experience: Business Finance, Business Performance, Cost Accounting; preferably in a Manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's Degree, Accounting or Finance; MBA, CMA or CPA preferred
  • Strong computer skills; Oracle ERP and Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
  • Must be a self-starter with a proven record of managing priorities and meeting deadlines with solid organizational skills and attention to details
  • Must be comfortable partnering with other functional leaders and challenging teams to find the best overall solutions to opportunities presented in the business across all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to determine key issues and develop effective action plans
