TSC is seeking a Senior Antenna Engineer located in Bloomington, IN.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the transfer of the SPY-1 passive antenna array sustainment from the OEM to the receiving organization.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with the OEM and relevant stakeholders to oversee the transfer of institutional RF knowledge about the radar system.
  • Conduct frequent travel to the OEM to verify near-field test data before the full transition of the array sustainment to the receiving organization.
  • Support the transfer of the OEM's technical data package into the organization's configuration management system, along with creating additional documentation for sustainment.
  • Assist in specifying and designing a near-field chamber for testing the SPY-1 antenna array.
  • Help develop a modified specification for the antenna array to support the creation of battle spares.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related technical degree.
  • 10+ year of relevant work experience, particularly in the area of DoD engineering or programmatic support, including RF experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent in the use of full-wave electromagnetic solvers such as CST Microwave Studio or Ansys HFSS.
  • Experience modeling RF systems using MATLAB with the radar, antenna, and communication toolboxes.
  • Experience creating and deriving radar component specifications based on desired system level performance.
  • Experience testing large phased array antennas in a near-field chamber.
