Description

Central City Concern is an innovative nonprofit agency providing comprehensive services to single adults and families in the Portland metro area who are impacted by homelessness, poverty and addictions. We hire people that are skilled and passionate to meet our mission to end homelessness through outcome-based strategies which support personal and community transformation.

Fleet Specialists provide administrative and transportation support to the Fleet Manager in managing the fleet of vehicles at Central City Concern.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Location: Butte (610 NW Davis St. Portland, OR 97217)

Compensation: Starts at $21.19 per hour, could increase depending on candidate's experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Requires high school diploma or GED and six months of work experience transporting people and/or materials. Experience coordinating fleets preferred.
  • Must possess a current driver's license, qualify as an Acceptable Driver as designated in Central City Concern's Fleet Safety policy. Must pass an initial driver training within 60 days of being an approved driver and continued recertification training.
  • Must be proficient in general business computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite). Experience working with databases preferred.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects and ability to climb stairs.
  • Ability to adhere to Central City Concern's drug-free workplace which encourages a safe, healthy and productive work environment and complies with the Drug-Free Workplace Ace of 1988. An employee shall not, in the workplace, unlawfully manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess or use a controlled substance or alcohol.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Will be required to carry a cell phone for work use. Cell phone to be provided by Central City Concern.
  • Must adhere to agency's non-discrimination policies.
  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, lifestyles, and sexual orientations and treat everyone with respect and dignity.


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES



  • Oversee the repair, maintenance, parking, licensing, and registration for all vehicles in CCCs fleet.
  • Code and submit all vehicle repair invoices as well as maintenance and fuel bills for the Fleet Manager to review.
  • Respond to and assist with the repair process for vehicle breakdowns, lockouts, or collisions as directed by Fleet Manager.
  • Run reports on CCC fleet utilization and assist with analysis.
  • Transport CCC staff to and from events as assigned.
  • Coordinate pick-up and delivery of donations to CCC.
  • Transport CCC property and equipment as requested.
  • Transport inter-office mail to CCC Programs and Facilities.
  • Maintain a system for trip logs and submit on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe vehicle.
  • Must always wear identification name tag when on duty.
  • Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security. Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements pursuant to community partners' and outside providers' patient confidentiality agreements, including privacy and security requirements for EMR access. This includes immediately reporting any breach of protected health information or personal identification information of any person receiving CCC services by CCC or an outside provider to the CCC Compliance Department, as well as to your supervisor or their designee.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the work.
