What you'll do

In this position you will help build the next generation of Docusign's Agreement Platform. Your goal would be to help build highly scalable, performant and secure services in an environment with 5 9's availability and bank grade security.

You will be part of a team of great engineers focusing on delivering quality products in the core e-sign, specifically the envelopes and recipients area, which is at the heart of our customers' workflows. You will be both a leader and a do-er, focusing on the various complex and challenging problems while designing new features, implementing solutions for existing problems while also working to increase scale and efficiency.

This position in an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Engineering.

Responsibility

  • Architect, implement and maintain some of Docusign's highest scale and highest used services
  • Design and build highly scalable database and service solutions for new features
  • Build the next set of features and Apis to make Docusign a true customer development platform
  • Work with world class telemetry systems to work through complex problems and solve them with data
  • Guide and mentor other engineers through design and code reviews
  • Design and architect with the future in mind. Think through how systems will scale and fail as they grow
  • Take complicated problems and break them down in to bite sized pieces, then ship every few weeks to get there
  • Work throughout the stack, from network protocols to database performance and back

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years related experience
  • Experience programming in C#
  • Experience with Database - SQL, Cosmos
  • Experience with Kusto
  • Experience working on scalable systems, building products and features and taking it through Design, Implementation and going live

Preferred

  • Experience working on Azure and building microservices

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $151,800.00 - $245,150.00 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
