As an Engineer, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex construction projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion with top-quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project engineering tasks, including reviewing contracts, drawings, and specs.
  • Lead and supervise engineering teams (Assistant Engineers, Interns).
  • Serve as the main point of contact for architects, subcontractors, consultants, and inspectors.
  • Oversee MEP budgets, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Ensure MEP systems meet project requirements.
  • Develop work scopes, schedules, and reports on cost control, safety, and quality.
  • Conduct walkthroughs and meetings to ensure alignment with design and timelines.
  • Handle project close-out, securing warranties, final records, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in engineering or related field; 4-8 years of relevant MEP experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, project management software; BIM and LEAN experience a plus.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, cost management, and scheduling.
  • Skilled in interpreting construction documents, contracts, and specs.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
