Cycle Counter

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a first shift (6AM - 2:30PM) Cycle Counter based in Indianapolis, IN. The Cycle Counter is responsible for continuous cycle counts of inventory, researching all data available to assist management in maintaining accurate inventories, and ensures that proper inventory and storage procedures are being followed.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $19.00/hr. - $20.75/hr. plus voluntary overtime (rate of pay to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Physically count inventory using manual or automatic methods (scales and scanners)
• Tabulate count data and provide reports to management using excel spreadsheets
• Provide explanations for simple stock discrepancies
• Enter data using a PC in a timely manner
• Maintain current certification to operate lift trucks

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Computer skills, including but not limited to, experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software and MS Office products

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and balance; use arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel, and reach; use close vision with or without correction

WHAT WE PREFER

• Experience with System Applications and Products (SAP), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
• 3 to 5 years' experience with supply chain/inventory management
