Job Purpose

Perform the design, layout, testing, and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems. Perform product development activities including drawing board layout and interpretation and implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements. Provide existing product line support in design activities and/or modification of hardware in production. Perform coordinating function during equipment downtime situations, providing countermeasure, improvement strategy and SQDC containment related to equipment.

Key Accountabilities

* Project lead - To include planning, budget, preparation, status reporting, and management

* Design & Develop equipment C/M to address SQD characteristics

* Job process engineering, development, and verification

* Develop & Lead equipment improvement projects

* Equipment analysis and development of improvement and countermeasure activity

* Mentoring and team development

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience

2-8 Years

Other Job-Specific Skills

Microsoft Office, 3D modelling software, Project management, Oral and Written Communication, CAD software, Interpersonal, and Customer service skills

Working Conditions

70 % Office Work

20 % Floor and Equipment Evaluation

10 % Production support

Ability to work overtime on weekends, holidays, and off shifts as business needs dictate
