Job Overview:

The Loyalty Analyst is responsible for growing the impact of the Bloomingdale's Loyallist Program through thoughtful analysis and research.The Loyalty Analyst will need to generate and synthesize numerous reports in order to draw insights regarding Loyallist program performance by month, season, event, and initiative. In addition to reporting, the Analyst will need to identify areas of strength and opportunity to make recommendations regarding the health of the program. The ideal candidate has exceptionally strong Excel skills and can maintain accuracy while juggling multiple projects of varying priority. Through collaboration, strategy, process improvement and innovation the Loyalty Analyst will be an integral team member in what drives and determines our success as a business.

Essential Functions:



  • Manage and update all Loyallist reporting; gain competency to address all questions related to analysis



  • Execute programming and tying of targeted offers; partner with Contact Strategy team to execute offers and determine impact; identify opportunities to increase incremental sales



  • Highlight business trends by location, channel, and family of business to identify growth opportunities



  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses regarding the Loyalty program for the Loyalty team and business partners across the organization identifying opportunities to optimize offers and drive acquisition and incremental business.



  • Support preparation of all analysis and documents on Loyallist key performance indicators for regular leadership reviews



  • Identify and manage data issues and reporting discrepancies across various reporting sources



  • Collaborate within Marketing teams to execute Loyallist offers and analysis - partner with internal database management and contact strategy teams



  • Support other roles on Loyalty team with analysis, reporting, offer programming, and other tasks



  • Maintain a deep understanding of the key business drivers related to Loyallist, and the program's role in driving sales

Qualifications and Competencies:



  • 2-4 years of related work experience with a background in Marketing or an analytical role preferred.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong data storytelling skills and ability to present complex information in a compelling and easy-to-understand manner.


  • Creative problem solver and self-starter showing the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently and knowing when to escalate issues effectively.


  • Highly analytical and strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to execute tactically.


  • Comfort working cross-functionally, especially with marketing, digital, and data analytics teams, to implement loyalty initiatives effectively.


  • Eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in data analysis, reporting, and recommendations.


  • Advanced Excel skills (proficiency in pivot tables, look-up functions, "if" statements, etc.) Experience with BI tools, including but not limited to Tableau and experience with customer database systems a plus.



  • Strong mathematical and reasoning skill set with ability to quickly identify correlations and out of balances, compute rates, ratios, and percentages.


  • Physical Demands: This position involves regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.


  • Work Hours: Ability to work a hybrid flexible schedule based on company needs.
