The Integrated Aviation Solutions (IAS) Division currently has an opening for a Task Order Manager supporting a CONUS-based Operations, Sustainment and Development program. Leidos is the prime contractor on a 10-year single award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting the United States Army. The Task Order Manager is charged with managing all aspects of the assigned DIABLO Task Order to ensure the contract complies with the terms and conditions, meets or exceeds customer expectations, satisfies the technical requirements, meets all financial, schedule and quality objectives and requirements for Leidos and subcontractors.

The Task Order Manager is an integral member of the Program Management Office (PMO) and reports directly to the PM while maintaining direct liaison with the PMO staff, functional support personnel, U.S. Government customers (USG), subcontractors, and vendors.

On site in Bridgewater, VA is preferred for this position but hybrid and remote may be considered if the candidate is able to travel to Leidos, customer, and subcontractor facilities as required to meet program requirements and goals; normally up to 50%.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)

  • Establish program plans and priorities, allocate, maintain, and manage resources, including assigning tasks to PMO and functional support staff, disclosing program issues and escalating as necessary.

  • Coordinate with Program Financial Analyst and subcontractors to complete monthly spend plans and monitor cost projections versus monthly actuals to meet or exceed program periodic cost performance projections and estimate at completion.

  • Communicate with the USG customer to ensure the program meets cost and schedule expectations.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain program plans including but not limited to Program Management Plan, Subcontractor Management Plan, Tailored Product Baseline and Integrated Master Schedules.

  • Manage development, documentation, and implement processes that incorporate expanding requirements.

  • Manage creation and delivery of customer and subcontractor meeting materials and documentation; oversee meetings, ensure meeting minutes and action items are recorded, reported and completed.

  • Determine program's required monthly Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) delivery schedule; ensure CDRLs are completed on time.

  • Lead and manage all assigned staff members.

  • Communicate with USG customers, subcontractors and vendors and other external constituents as required; influence stakeholders and decisionmakers on policies, practices and procedures.

  • Leads, direct and review the program team's work and the work of subcontractor teams.

  • Report program status to the DIABLO PMO and Leidos management per policy PL-PE-01: Program Execution.

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or 5+ years prior relevant experience and 4+ years' experience supervising or leading teams or projects.

  • Possess at least an interim DoD Top Secret clearance.

  • Previous program execution experience experience in a management role.

  • Experience developing work plans and determining required resources to complete scope of work.

  • Experience compiling monthly spend plans inputs and monitoring cost performance variances.

  • Ability to lead employees to maximize performance; provide corrective guidance when required.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage processes and recommend improvements.

  • Effectively communicate with Leidos and sub-contractor functional leads, managers, and employees.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% to support one-on-one and stakeholder meetings.

  • Be able to obtain a passport to travel internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • U.S. Government customer facing experience leading meetings, briefings, negotiations and reporting.

  • Experience developing responses to USG request for proposals.

  • Ability to manage documents, create and update program tasks using a web based Data Management System.

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
