Job Description:

We are looking forTargeting Officers IV and V to join our intelligence program supporting a key government customer in Northern Virginia. These individuals must have customer experience and understand how to research, write, and analyze data using the client's proprietary targeting tools and databases. The ideal candidate must be familiar with customer writing styles and government classified databases, including specific targeting tools, sources, and methods. Vital briefing and writing skills and the ability to work well with a team or individually with minimal supervision are necessary.

This requisition represents multiple openings-The position level is contingent on applicant-specific qualifications and experience. After multiple assessments, applicants will be evaluated and placed in a level from 1 to 5 based on their experience and customer feedback.

As a Targeting Officer/Analyst (Level 4), the individual shall possess the following capabilities:



  • Identify, analyze, and facilitate the penetration and disruption of international organizations and threat networks.
  • Create, read, and process all-source intelligence, including the ability to conduct research, analysis, and reports from all disciplines (HUMINT, SIGINT, and technical data)Develop and maintain expertise in the customer's functional missions, including transnational and geographic areas of interest.
  • Focus, find, or expand leads to reveal additional information for pursuit.
  • Use customer collection platforms to identify and reduce intelligence gaps in the pursuit of tactics and operations.
  • Guide multi-organizational teams and coordinate closely with multiple mission partners in an all-source collection and analysis construct.
  • Assimilate vast amounts of data and provide time-critical direction, often under pressure.
  • Conduct complex, worldwide operations to develop actionable intelligence against high priority threats to US national security that may be transnational in origin.
  • Possess writing skills in customer writing style.

Required Qualifications Based on Level:



  • Level IV (4)

    • 12-20 years of Tradecraft-Relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree or have five (5) additional years of Program-related work experience in lieu of a college degree!
    • Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings.
    • Customer-relevant cable-writing and tools/database experience.
    • Demonstrated experience with the IC, USG, and USMIL performing work similar in scope to the contract.




  • Level V (5)

    • 20 or more years of Tradecraft-Relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree or have five (5) additional years of Program-related work experience in lieu of a college degree!
    • Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings.
    • Customer-relevant cable-writing and tools/database experience.
    • Demonstrated experience with the IC, USG, and USMIL performing work similar in scope to the contract.
    • Certification in Sponsor basic tradecraft courses
    • At least two overseas tour (CONUS or OCONUS) or 4 years' TDY experience.





Desired Qualifications:



  • Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
  • Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases.
  • Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices.
  • Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing.
  • Foreign language(s) skill.



Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Pay Range: Competitive
