Clariant is currently looking for a Miller to support the Adsorbents and Additives business unit in Quincy, FL. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of screen tower equipment, mills, screens, sifters, and associated conveyors and elevators. This role also ensures the production of various grades of material to meet established specifications and maximize throughput while maintaining equipment safety and product quality. Daily tasks include equipment inspection, operation, basic maintenance, and sample collection for quality control. This is a full time, onsite opportunity involves rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet production goals. Responsibilities

* Operate all screen tower equipment, including boxes, screens, elevators, distributors, and conveyors, as well as mills and sifters, following established safety and efficiency guidelines

* Ensure maximum production rates and quality standards are met without compromising equipment integrity

* Perform pre-operation inspections of work areas and equipment to identify any potential issues or hazards

* Conduct routine equipment checks to confirm readiness for daily operations and report any maintenance needs

* Perform necessary lubrication and adjustments on conveyors, milling systems, and screening equipment to ensure optimal functionality

* Repair or replace screens and sifter trays as needed and conduct minor maintenance to prevent production interruptions

* Collect, label, and submit intermediate and final product samples to the laboratory for quality testing to ensure materials meet specifications

* Keep the assigned work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Conduct regular housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and efficient workspace

* Follow all operational procedures and safety protocols to prevent equipment damage and ensure safe working conditions

* Participate in safety training and promptly report any incidents or potential risks.

* Take on any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by management to support production goals and maintain operational continuity

Requirements

* Highschool Diploma or equivalent, will consider relevant prior work experience in lieu of education

* Prior experience with machinery operation and basic maintenance is highly preferred

* Experience in manufacturing or industrial processes preferred

* Experience with motorized industrial equipment preferred

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed for maintenance tasks
