New Shepard is a reusable suborbital rocket system designed to take astronauts and research payloads past the Karman line, the internationally recognized boundary of space. As part of a diverse and hardworking team of professionals, specialists, and engineers, you will lead efforts to manage and direct suppliers and teammates to support maintenance operations and sustainment of various spaceflight system spares. You will interact with our internal customers and program to address concerns and ensure deliveries are on track. The New Shepard (NS) Spares Program Manager has overall responsibility, accountability, and authority of the spares management process, working with NS Commercial Operations (NSCO), NS elements, Supply Chain's demand planners in Production Control and Supply Chain Management, and monitoring execution of the process in accordance with program strategic objectives. The NS Spares Program Manager is responsible for coordinating within the NSCOand Elements to submit and manage the NS Spares budget, schedule, and prioritization as well as coordination across elements and supporting functions. This function directly supports the NS Business Unit. The Spares Program Manager within the NSOM maintenance team will drive strategic planning, budget management, development and execution of spare parts programs. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely availability of parts, aligning with program needs and objectives. The ideal candidate will take ownership of inventory management, procurement, and supply chain strategies to optimize operations and support maintenance activities. Proven leadership and negotiation skills are essential to influence stakeholders and achieve program goals within budget and schedule constraints, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency across the organization.
