This individual will be responsible for assisting with managing master data, BOMs and routers for a fabrication facility. The Ideal candidate will have a background and hands on experience in a fabrication role that deals with repetitive and custom metal fabrication production. This will be an administrative role that requires the hands on knowledge. Job Duties: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Information Technology, Engineering, or Business). Proven experience in Material Master data creation, BOMs, and routings within the SAP environment. In-depth knowledge of SAP MM module functionality related to Material Master data, BOMs, and routings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Working knowledge and understanding of other SAP modules, considered a plus (WM/PP/LO and the workflow) Inventory Management understanding Work Order creation and maintenance Work Center creation and maintenance, capacities, shifts, etc. Routings maintenance, mass changes (CEWB), capacities, etc. Microsoft Office Product Suite Helpful to possess an understanding of manufacturing processes, shop floor workflow. General understanding of metals Steel, stainless, aluminum Structural shapes (angles, tubes, pipes, etc.) Working knowledge of determining cycle times for metal fabrication Background in all or some of the below processes required: Laser cutting Welding Bending Punch press Manual/CNC machining Powder Coating Plasma cutting General assembly
