Kennedy Jenks is seeking a driven Project Manager to join one of our largest and fastest-growing markets in the Seattle area. We are looking for an individual who is solutions-oriented, has an entrepreneurial mindset, enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment, and brings a client-focused perspective. Key Responsibilities:



  • Project Management: Apply your experience in evaluating, designing, and constructing water, wastewater, utility infrastructure, conveyance, and process modifications. Provide environmental and civil engineering consulting services to municipal and industrial sector clients. Lead multi-disciplinary project teams, often spanning different offices. Oversee project communication and utilize strong interpersonal skills.
  • Project Leadership: Manage all aspects of project delivery, including contract preparation and negotiation for professional services. Monitor project quality and financial performance. Proactively identify and resolve budget and schedule-related challenges.
  • Business Development: Participate in or lead business development initiatives. Engage directly with clients and coordinate with marketing teams to prepare proposals. Lead or participate in interview teams.
  • Professional Growth: Collaborate with engineers and scientists at all levels to foster personal and professional growth within the industry. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.


Qualifications:



  • BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a similar engineering field
  • 7+ years of experience managing water infrastructure projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or the ability to obtain PE registration within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to travel to project sites and potentially other Kennedy Jenks offices
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Energy, focus, and a strong desire for continued career growth
  • Experience with site civil design, technical writing, and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred

Work Flexibility:
We offer full-time positions while recognizing that individual circumstances vary. We are pleased to accommodate part-time schedules of 32-36 hours per week for those who require flexibility.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is expected to be between $110,000 and $165,000, and may vary based on education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.
