Molex Data Communications and Specialty Solutions (DSS) is looking for a Field Application Engineer to support Microsoft, a key Molex customer. The FAE will play a critical role by providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, and ensuring the successful implementation and integration of our products. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. What You Will Do * Collaborate with engineers to provide optimized solutions meeting the customer's application requirements. * Identify new opportunities that align with the Molex product portfolio. * Function as a technical advisor, offering insights and recommendations to optimize customer deployments. * Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues related to our products and solutions. * Work with internal engineering teams to escalate and resolve critical customer issues. * Identify market trends and communicate internally to drive innovative solutions. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders at customer sites to be the first point of contact for new technical opportunities. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. * 5+ years of experience in Server/Switch R&D or FAE support of hyperscale customers * Strong understanding of data center architecture, networking, storage, and compute technologies. What Will Put You Ahead * Knowledge of connector and cable assembly design or manufacturing process. * Server or switch hardware design experience * CAD modeling or PCB layout knowledge * Experience using SAP and Salesforce At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
