General Summary

The Customer Strategy and Engagement Solutions Advisor is responsible for supporting the sales efforts of FedEx Transportation Management. This position is responsible for the initial analysis of incoming RFI's and RFP's and will support sales in pursuing these opportunities. This includes the creation of detailed P&L's to be used internally and pricing files to be provided to the customers. This position will participate in solution design, pricing, proposal and presentation creation, sales collateral, sales reporting along with general sales support.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with sales, lines of service, and opco's to design creative business solutions.
  • Facilitate sales leads through the solution design, proposal and pricing process.
  • Completion of RFI and RFP responses.
  • Develop, maintain and utilize pricing model in coordination with sales process.
  • Develop and maintain libraries for sales/marketing content, RFP and RFI responses, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Create reporting for sales pipeline and other ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Create and manage inputs for detail and accuracy, customize formatting, and create and run reports in Salesforce for all Managed Transportation and Consulting opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics required.

Minimum Experience

  • Five (5) - seven (7) years Solution design, Sales support, Implementation, Project Management, Facilitation, Strong MS Office Suite required.
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) to organize ideas and to make clear, logical and persuasive presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with management.

Working Conditions

Condition will be mainly in an office environment with occasional work in warehouse environment.
