Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work hybrid with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The client is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a missile development program.
  • Tasks will include technical support for supplier management teams (SMT).
  • Develop electrical requirements, designs, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and drawings for items, including overseeing two vendors' electrical designs through preliminary design review (PDR), prototype hardware development, and integration into the missile system.
  • Conduct research, technical investigations, and problem resolution.
  • Support system and subsystem design updates and release; lab testing and evaluation
  • Provide on-site supplier support to perform design verification and qualification testing events.
  • Reports efforts directly to the Program Electrical Engineer Lead.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $79.04/hr.

Hours: 25 hours/week (Part-Time).

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with digital, analog, and power (mix signals) electrical.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Safety, Safety Standards, Electrical Diagnosis/Repair, Electrical Technology, and Read Electrical Schematics.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in electrical troubleshooting and electrical testing.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Circuit Design, Power Electronics.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronics supplier management and requirements development.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Systems and Electrical Standards.
  • Systems Analysis & Design Skills.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.
