Overview

The Corporate Project Manager serves as a key player in advancing company-wide initiatives and ensuring smooth collaboration across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), this role blends strategic planning, thoughtful analysis, and hands-on management. At the heart of the company's success, the Corporate Project Manager serves as a trusted advisor and catalyst for impactful decision-making, innovation, and growth. Whether driving projects to completion or aligning priorities, this position plays a critical role in keeping the organization moving forward.

This position is based out of our Headquarters office in Chantilly, VA in a hybrid capacity.


What will you do?

  • Manages development and integration of regular recurring and special business reports, including collecting data and information from multiple sources.
  • Ensures contributors for reoccurring and ad hoc deliverables meet deadlines.
  • Performs final report editing, quality assurance, and production.
  • Organizes and schedules all board of directors, executive leadership team, corporate business and financial review, and other regular recurring and special corporate meetings. This includes all relevant logistics, contributing to a VTG standard of excellence.
  • Works closely with the ELT on special projects.
  • Provides executive liaison to relevant business associations to administer the corporate awards and other employee recognition initiatives.
  • Administers leadership development and employee wellness/culture initiatives as a liaison to the ELT.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a fully accredited four-year college or university. Degree in organizational development, program management, business or public administration, technical management, information systems, engineering, finance/accounting, or related fields
  • Three years of project, business, or operational management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communications, organizational, research, planning, relationship building, coaching, decision-making, and writing skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changes in business conditions, competing demands, and unanticipated events.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration applications.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
  • Able to work in a high paced environment and must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong planning, decision-making, relationship-building, and coaching skills
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changes in business conditions, competing demands, and unanticipated events.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
