The Senior Manager, Project / Program Management , leads a team of Project Managers who are responsible for designing and executing readiness efforts to ensure the Sales & Service organization is well-prepared for change driven by process, policy, pricing, product, tools, and other changes in our business. The Senior Manager, Project / Program Management understands overall and initiative-specific business goals and collaborates across the organization to drive proper prioritization of readiness efforts in support of those goals. This individual is also responsible for ensuring team members are successfully evaluating rep/agent level impacts of such changes in the business and that they are designing readiness plans that will minimize those impacts and successfully prepare the rep/agent for smooth transitions and high adoption rates.

The Senior Manager, Project / Program Management will support Project Managers with resolving issues as needed. This individual will measure effectiveness of readiness tactics and will partner with other leaders in the organization to innovate change management practices over time. The Senior Manager, Project /Program Management may lead change readiness initiatives as needed.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the execution of change readiness efforts within the Sales & Service organization for rep/agent impacting initiatives such as process, policy, pricing, product, and tool changes; includes ensuring effective change readiness plans are built and executed for individual projects and collections of projects that may impact or depend on each other
  • Guide team members to ensure accurate evaluation of rep/agent level impacts of changes in the business and effective design of readiness plans to prepare reps/agents for smooth transitions, high adoption rates, and overall achievement of objectives
  • Lead complex change readiness initiatives as necessary
  • Work closely with Sales & Service leadership to fully understand business objectives & priorities and ensure change readiness plans are aligned to support those objectives & priorities
  • Innovate change readiness tactics as needed to effectively prepare our Sales & Service team members for change
  • Advance change management standards and deliverables to support the evolving Sales & Service organization
  • Assist teams with issue resolution and escalations with a focus on informed decision-making and swift action. Ensure timely communication of issues to leadership as necessary
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Performs other duties as requested

Who You Are

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 8 years of experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years of experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years of experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field with no degree.
  • 3+ years' experience in a management or leadership role
  • Requires strong knowledge and demonstrated application of change management fundamentals, including behavioral change, impact assessment, and stakeholder engagement principles and tactics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills required to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
  • Demonstrated capacity to thrive and lead/influence others in a high-change, often ambiguous business environment.
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Preferred:

  • Degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, Psychology, Communication or Marketing strongly desired
  • Experience in Telecommunications desired.
  • Prefer certification in PROSCI or CCMP and/or PMP.

USD 117,300.00 - 195,500.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $117,300.00 - $195,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
