Administrative Coordinator

Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for providing administrative support for members of the administration staff and coordination for programmatic functions as well as coordination for specialty accreditation programs.

Job Functions


  1. Performs various administrative duties for members of administration included but not limited to: managingProvider Collaborative Agreements, creating documentation, updating policies, procedures, and scope of services.
  2. Coordinates Medical Director, Director and administration staff calendars and administrative support.
  3. Answers and screens phone calls.
  4. Provides administrative support for meetings and composes routine correspondence/minutes.


    • Coordination and facilitation of required committees, service lines and multidisciplinary team meetings.



    • Coordinates meetings, follow-ups and ensures all items are completed.


  1. Coordinates physician recruitment and onboarding.
  2. Scheduling coordinator for the Hospitalists program. This includes partnering with lead physician to complete schedules, communicating directly with hospitalists, and coordinating day to day staffing needs.
  3. Manages Clinics Team Sites.
  4. Provides professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience


  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 3 + years of experience working as an administrative assistant or related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities



    • Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
    • Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
    • Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
    • Excellent organization and coordination skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Knowledge of intermediate computer functions and Microsoft Office applications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work with a wide range of customers

  • Post-secondary education
