Description Leidos Mechanical Manufacturing Team is seeking talented 2nd Shift Manufacturing Production Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Primary Responsibilities The 2nd Shift Production Manager leads people and processes, overseeing the day-to-day activities of our manufacturing production machine shop. This individual will direct team activities with the goal of manufacturing the best possible products on-time while maintaining a safe working environment, continuously improving processes, being an asset to customers, and developing employees in knowledge/competency resulting in a more effective team. Candidate must be flexible and be able to respond positively to changes and challenges. They should be able to think outside the box to solve problems and willing to go the extra mile to ensure organization goals are met.
