Occupational Therapy Hand and Upper Extremity Fellow

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours/week. 8 or 10-hour day shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Hand and Upper Extremity Fellow (OT) to:



  • Attend and participate in didactic education designed to advance clinical reasoning and pattern recognition in the hand and upper extremity.
  • Challenge your own clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units, case presentations and scholarly inquiry.
  • Form alliances with patients and their families with the common goal of optimizing function following acute injuries, cumulative and non-traumatic injuries, and surgical procedures related to hand and upper extremity impairments.
  • Expand knowledge and interventional skills in lymphedema.
  • Collaborate on a weekly basis with advanced practitioners and board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic and plastic surgeons.
  • Treat a variety of pre- and post-operative upper extremity conditions while being mentored by staff.
  • Collaborate with other providers in coordinating patient and family care across multiple services.

Work Experience

  • 1 year of prior relevant experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months Required
