Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role


    Lead the Abrams M1E3 Jump Start Efforts for US Manufacturing from contract award through System Requirements Review. Support the Abrams Futures Program Office efforts to shape, capture, and win the next phase of the program.
    • Primary interface for US Manufacturing with Program Office and the customer.
    • Keep M&CS leadership and Program Office management informed on readiness all program aspects.

    Specific tasks in this phase include:
    • Develop and maintain IMS as directed by contract requirements.
    • Monitor contract requirements assigned to Manufacturing and their allocation to the production plants.
    • Develop and foster a cohesive team environment between prototype and production teams.

    Future phases the tasks with include:


    • EBOM development, Make/Buy Input, ERP execution, MBOM development, and material procurement.
    • Direct the establishment and management of prototype build BOM in TeamCenter.
    • Direct MRs for material required to mitigate program risk.
    • Track material status and address "late to need" issues with plant and SCM leads.
    • Manage and track plant readiness for prototype builds.

    Qualifications Sought
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
    • Mind-set to work collaboratively in a team environment for program success.
    • Proven skills in the development of technical documents and oral communication.
    • Strong technical writing and presentation skills sought.
    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • 7 to 10 years of experience.
