Our Team We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in developing cutting-edge interconnect solutions for the industrial market. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record of successful project management, and the potential to lead a broader organization. What You Will Do * Lead and manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of interconnect solutions for industrial applications * Drive evolution of product development/function, creating customer value in line with requirements, and fulfill cost, timing and reliability goals. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and successful product launches. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and reliability. * Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. * Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time and within budget. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our products remain competitive and meet customer needs. * Identify and coach to areas of opportunity to promote growth, mentorship, development and success. * Be an advocate and driver for our PBM culture Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred. * Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering * At least 3 years in a leadership role. * Expertise of interconnect solutions * Proven knowledge of regulatory standards and processes (NEC, UL/CSA, IEC). * Knowledge of analysis tools such as FEA, CFD, Optical Design * Knowledge of AQP methods * Capable of establishing credibility, mutual respect, and authority within the functional groups. * Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering successful projects. What Will Put You Ahead * Circular connectors and heavy-duty connectors is a plus * Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. * High potential to lead a broader organization and drive strategic initiatives. * Ability to successfully champion ideas, solutions, and raise issues across the organization At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
