SUMMARY:

Mortenson is currently hiring a Supply Chain Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the vision and direction of the Advanced Manufacturing Group. This position plays an integral role in driving a wide range of reporting and analytics strategy on behalf of the Project teams, and group Leadership. This position reports directly to the Director of Equipment Solutions but is primarily responsible for supporting all functions under the Supply Chain and Advanced Manufacturing umbrella.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Partner cross-functionally to implement and operate systems that improve business processes and outcomes.
  • Execute effectively on Mortenson's current Supply Chain operations while assessing existing and desired functions to design and implement a supply chain that drives continuous improvement.
  • Build business cases that support strategic decision making and make recommendations to optimize the application of the strategic sourcing process.
  • Define and direct sourcing initiatives in alignment with strategic plans and supply chain strategies.
  • Establish strong and effective relationships with key suppliers (existing and new) to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets are met.
  • Champion superior customer service by ensuring a customer focused approach and strong service orientation.
  • Develop sustainable, long-term strategies to achieve business objectives for the Supply Chain function and contribute to Company-wide strategy.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams working toward similar goals without having direct supervisory responsibility
  • Ability to lead initiatives and influence decisions
  • Responsible for establishing strategies for sourcing/supply chain with process excellence focus.
  • Work cross-functionally to optimize supply chain efforts with primary focus on systems and process improvement
  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and integration within Supply Chain and across Mortenson to provide cohesive solutions and ensure effective delivery of strategy.
  • Generating, formatting, and analyzing operations billing reports, with a focus on troubleshooting issues and developing solutions in partnership with ITS.
  • Act as liaison with ITS to support the groups' (software) billing functions (Contracts, Invoices, Work Orders, etc.)
  • Generating, formatting, and analyzing consumable spend reports (monthly, quarterly, annually, and ad hoc) to drive desired behaviors amongst the team(s)
  • Supporting purchase order and rental management in Oracle
  • Generating, formatting, and analyzing asset management reports (primarily rental equipment)
  • Generating, formatting, and analyzing supplier spend reports
  • Inventory Management Support - Scheduled reporting, on-demand reporting, and discrepancy resolution
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Role will require less than 10% travel.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:



  • Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate or above required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with a focus on advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, complex formulas, V-Lookups, Spreadsheet merging & referencing, and graphing.
  • Experience with billing and or asset management software required
  • Experience with Oracle required
  • Bachelor's degree required
