Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Territory Manager, Automation to join our amazing culture. The Territory Manager, Automation is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of Field Service Technicians, equipment installations, and operational costs, while driving Time & Material work quality to meet or exceed established goals and objectives. This role ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining and nurturing service contract relationships, while contributing to the growth of service contract revenues. As a key member of the regional management team, the Territory Manager, Automation actively drives revenue growth, margin expansion, and the achievement of customer satisfaction metrics within the Territory and Region.

  • The Territory Manager is responsible for supervising a team of 15-20 Field Service Technicians, overseeing all day-to-day administrative requirements, implementing corporate policies, and addressing policy or service-related issues
  • The Territory Manager is tasked with managing individual productivity goals and training and developing each assigned technician to meet or exceed customer expectations. Additionally, this role focuses on optimizing equipment installations, controlling operating costs, and enhancing Time & Material work quality to achieve established objectives.
  • Develops and implements Operations strategies that improve service delivery and provide additional value to customers in a cost-effective manner.
  • Work independently to provide service and product proposals to new accounts, working to develop and secure new business relationships. Work in a team environment to support existing sales efforts in the development, installation and profitability of new sales to existing customers
  • Interface/communicate to ensure projects or commitments are on schedule and completed, including parts or product availability. Ensure WO numbers are received for installation or projects and are closed properly in a timely fashion. Check billed work WO's to ensure customers are invoiced for work performed.
  • Resolves customer problems that have been escalated from the Supervisor level. Proactively communicates with and seek feedback from service customers. Seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicates goals to the service team and communicate with the wider organization as and when required, and maintains accurate and up to date sales records, and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.
  • Meets with service customers on a regular basis to ensure that we are providing quality service and meeting their individual needs.
  • Managerial responsibilities including but not limited to mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management; project budget.
  • Request worksheets and provide to Field Service Technicians, work with CSR and Supply Chain to coordinate scheduling of cycle counts, data entry and variance request.
  • Other duties as assigned.





What You'll Need



  • Strong leadership and management skills selling and delivery of service contracts and Time and Material (T&M) service; Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the Service Department.
  • Initiative - Engages in proactive behavior and looks for service opportunities.
  • Broad based professional knowledge of Automation (ATM ,ITM, TCR)
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Team, SharePoint, Business central, Office 365) and Access.
  • Customer Focus - Maintaining awareness of and seeking to meet the needs and wants of the customer.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Financial analytical skills including cost control.

  • Adaptability - Responds effectively to changes in situation or information.
  • Analytical Thinking - Logically breaks down problems and looks for solutions.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience



  • Bachelor's degree in business, management or related field desirable or equivalent experience.


Minimum Experience: 5+ years relevant field service or related required.

Preferred Experience: (but not required):



  • Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: bank equipment automation.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
