Mail Services Specialist 1 - Meter Operator

The Meter Operator processes pieces requiring special handling using the Pitney Bowes postage meter and the ENDICIA software program. The Meter Operator also records postage usage in the Postage Accounting system by means of a computer.

1.Process pieces requiring special handling by operating the Pitney Bowes postage meters.

2.Process pieces requiring special handling by utilizing the ENDICIA software program.

3.Accurately enters postage usage into the Postage Accounting System via JTR.

4.Other duties as assigned by PC or Supervision.

This Position requires:

1. Good communication skills, both oral and written.
2. Strong Math skills.
3. Excellent computer skills.
4. Good problem solving skills.

This position requires an understanding of company guidelines and procedures with an emphasis on mailing processes & postage fees.

Oral communication with Finishing associates, Mail Expeditors/Handlers and Mail Center supervision is essential to this position.

Starting wage: $14.65/hr

Available shift:

• New Bshift - Tues - Fri 5:00pmto 3:00 am.

• $1.25/hr differential for this shift.

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $14.65 to $18.04 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
