DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will be tasked with performing clerical work in support of UC tax lien activities, where you will be evaluating the UCTS training program to develop recommendations for improvements. Work includes reviewing and analyzing UCTS processes and procedures; developing recommendations to improve or develop new processes and procedures; as well as preparing reports which include conclusions and recommendations to address various administrative and programmatic problems. You will have the opportunity to analyze new employee orientation and ongoing training programs, and recommend changes to modernize and improve these programs. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Updating court information, county fees, prothonotary addresses, district magistrate, and sheriff addresses for all 67 PA Counties
- Reviewing lien error reports and determining appropriate action needed
- Maintaining files, employer folders, databases, and docket books
- Performing bookkeeping activity
- Serving as a primary contact with the County Courts for legal fee and/or address changes
- Completing timekeeping functions

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- AWS (alternate work schedule) may be available
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: Starting salary is non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
