Group Leader 1

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with the manager and supervisor to create and implement processes and procedures to increase productivity.
• Help maintain inventory and stock control, ensuring that physical inventory matches the systematic records.
• Work with the team to ensure all daily orders are completed in a timely manner while adhering to customer compliance.
• Prepare LTL orders for delivery.
• Assist the team in preparing and processing required shipping documents, such as Bill of Lading (BOL) and Advance Ship Notice (ASN).
• Maintain cleanliness, keeping the warehouse and storage areas clean and organized.
• Collaborate with the supervisor to coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities and track KPI goals.
• Train warehouse team members.
• Pick and pack orders.
• Assist with receiving functions
• Other duties assigned

• Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory and stock control.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
• Ability to train and lead warehouse team members.
• Proficiency in preparing and processing shipping documents.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and shipping records.
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse manager and supervisor

Education / Experience / Training Required

• Experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role in a warehouse setting.
• Experience in handling shipping and receiving functions.
