DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the Public Health Program Administrator, you will be tasked to stay up to date on programmatic activities associated with the Public Health Infrastructure Grant and coordinate the contract management lifecycle (creation, execution, monitoring, closeout) for all contracts funded through the Public Health Infrastructure Grant. You will have the opportunity to participate in the vendor selection process when RFA/RFP/RFQs are obtained to include reviewing Commonwealth and PA Department of Health policies and procedures to ensure that all contracts are compliant and within the scope of work of the Public Health Infrastructure Grant. Additional duties to include but not limited to:
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external partners
- Ensuring that contractors meet their requirements and deadlines by providing direct technical and program assistance
- Monitoring the implementation and performance of signed contracts to verify contractual agreement is being met
- Certifying the contractor's invoices for payment are timely and accurate

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (commonwealth title); or
- A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
