DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will apply your emergency planning and exercise skills to help develop, review, and maintain response plans for natural, man-made, and technological hazards. You will be responsible for developing and participating in exercises that test planning efforts as well as engaging the community in education and outreach activities to build awareness of emergency response plans that will support and protect their livelihoods in the future. You will also assist upper management in the daily operations of the office, manage grants related to hazardous materials, and oversee annual collection of the chemical inventory and Tier II reports submitted by industrial facilities. Our team will also rely on you to assist during and actual emergencies. Become a key member of your community with our team! Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
- Work hours include an irregular schedule. 24 hour per day, seven days per week coverage flexibility needed during emergencies to staff the County's Emergency Operations Center activations.
- You must be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, as emergencies warrant.

- This particular position also requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver's license.

- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
