This position works to support, assist, and promote the agency business owner in their role as independent contractors who possess the right of control over the manner and means by which they sell insurance and otherwise operate their businesses. Provides advanced business consulting to agency business owners on how to run a successful business.

Position Compensation Range:

$109,000.00 - $186,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities
*Works to support and uphold the role of agency business owners as independent business owners.
*Assists both evolving and large agency business owners in building profitable, growing and efficient businesses that align with the company's customer-driven vision.
*Uses advanced financial and problem solving skills to understand and evaluate small business challenges and opportunities to identify possible solutions.
*Uses insights and facts on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to guide agency business owners through scenario analysis and opportunity identification.
*Leads the design and delivery of financial-based planning and diagnostic processes to support profit and growth goals.
*Provides guidance to agency business owners and staff by exhibiting influence and expertise.
*Shares knowledge and best practices identified in other agency business owner. Consults on effective selling practices and procedures.
*Serves as a liaison to the corporation for agency business owners sharing insights into their needs and challenges.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
*Basic knowledge and understanding of agent language.
*Demonstrated experience communicating complex, technical information to company leaders.
*Demonstrated experience in process development.
*Demonstrated experience working with independent sales agents.
*Solid knowledge and understanding of project management standards, methodologies, concepts, and tools.
*Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance licensing requirements.
*Solid knowledge and understanding of agent compensation programs.

Licenses
*Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record.

Travel Requirements
*Up to 10%.

Physical Requirements
*Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
