Cybersecurity Policy Analyst

Key Role:

Provide support, execution, and management services to a high visibility DoD information assurance client. Provide onsite policy and technical analytical support for Federal Information Security Management Act, cybersecurity policy compliance, high risk package reviews, and risk management framework continuous monitoring. Assist with investigating impacts and provide analytical support for implementation recommendations regarding changes and additions to existing policies and the production of new policy analysis. Participate in internal and external cybersecurity policy working groups, support the advocacy of Navy interests, and prepare memorandums, decision packages, point papers, briefings, and messages. Conduct in-depth reviews of DoD and Joint staff manuals and instructions to assess security, operational, and resource impact and develop technical content. Review authorization paperwork and documents and develop the DoD guidance, workflows, and templates required for the RMF for DoD IT.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with capability definition and the operation of Information Technology

  • Experience with the DoD or Navy

  • Ability to develop and brief material to senior client leadership to support decision-making

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with IT Cybersecurity policy, compliance, and standards for the Navy or DoD

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
