The Solution Engineer (SE) SLED partners with Government Sales to sell T-Mobile for Business products and services by demonstrating their strong technical skills, experience, and industry knowledge. The SLED SEs engages in pre-sales activities by consulting on customer opportunities to gain an understanding of their business, identify their business challenges, and develop solutions that meet their needs.The SE, SLED architects and designs solutions, provides presales technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, provides answers to customers' technical inquiries and is seen as a leader among their peers. The SE further support Government Sales by reviewing specific customer opportunities and sales funnels. SEs will keep the Government Sales teams they support informed of relevant technologies and industry trends. SE's will maintain advanced/expert level knowledge of Device/ Endpoint Security, Telematics, Wireless Network, Connected Devices that specifically translate in the Public Sector space to advise customers. SEs, work closely with the Sales teams to drive sales and execute on financial targets. Obtain and/or maintain product-specific certifications as required, Understand and present product roadmaps as needed, assist with post-sale support/critical issues as engaged by internal support teams, maintain an understanding of T-Mobile wireless network and related key technologies, and maintain high-level understanding of network solutions, products, and technologies in the Public Sector space. SEs maintain their technical skills and industry expertise by participating in internal and external training opportunities. SEs also pursue and maintain partner or industry certification as required for their position. The Solution Engineer, SLED is a technical leader with good eye for business leveraging technical background, strategic thinking, communication skills and leadership prowess to successfully deliver innovative and differentiated products for the T-Mobile for Business organization. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
