Job Summary:
The Department of Gender and Women's Studies at UW-Madison is seeking a visiting assistant professor for the AY 2025-26 to teach a 2:2 teaching load. The position is approved for one year; a one-year renewal might be possible but not guaranteed. Responsibilities: In addition to advancing their research, successful applicants will be expected to teach two courses in Fall 2025 and two in Spring 2026 for the Department of Gender and Women's Studies. One of the courses may be a large, introductory survey course that requires the supervision of a teaching team. We will also expect the successful candidate to participate in the intellectual life of the department.
