Advantage Technical is seeking a Craftsperson - Manufacturing Maintenance for our client in Irvine, CA who strive to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment! They are looking for a highly skilled candidate who has a solid skillset and background of technical, mechanical, and electrical skills.

Contract Duration: 6-months with (the high probability for extension or conversion!)

3-5 years of experience = Pay: $33-$35 per hour

5+ years of experience = Pay: $40-$45 per hour

Shift/schedule - Night shift; Wed-Sat (5pm-5am)

REQUIRED - candidates should possess direct experience with any or a combination of the following:



  • Gear boxes
  • Conveyors
  • Drive systems
  • Models
  • Control systems
  • Relays
  • Sensors
  • Mechanical and electrical tools
  • Reading and understanding electrical schematics/diagrams
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Reading and understanding electrical schematics/diagrams
  • Basic PLC and controls troubleshooting
  • Low and high voltage controls
  • LOTO performance



Job Function | Day-to-day- working with senior mechanic to troubleshoot equipment (labelers, customize equipment, etc.)

perform plc preventative maintenance

* Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines and systems.

* Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment.

* Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime interruptions.

* Initiates improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency.

* More senior position might act as a team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members.

* Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices.

* Will become the subject matter expert at higher levels of job.

* Documents activities accordingly.

Education

* High school diploma/G.E.D required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.

Experience

* 5+ years related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
