Want to conduct innovative research to promote recovery after sexual violence? Want to help resolve health disparities by understanding how seeking treatment after trauma may be different for women from different backgrounds? The REAL study of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Sexual Violence Prevention Laboratory (UMKC SVP Lab) is excited to announce we are hiring a Sr. Project Coordinator supported by a recently acquired five-year grant. The REAL study is one of the largest (600 women) and most diverse longitudinal study of sexual violence survivors. The Sr. Project Coordinator for the REAL study at the School of Nursing and Health Studies at UMKC will combine the ability to function independently and work collaboratively within a diverse interdisciplinary team to help better understand recovery after sexual violence. We hope the study's findings will change the way healthcare providers work with women and reduce how often sexual violence occurs. The Sr. Project Coordinator will facilitate research processes and research product development to ensure the REAL study achieves its aims, vision, and plans to meet the needs of the study research staff, funders, and participants. The Sr. Project Coordinator will also provide leadership and management of this moderate to high complexity project. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Anticipated Hiring Range
Full-time, benefit eligible, exempt position with an anticipated hiring range of $51,875 to $60,000 per year commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity. This position is 100% externally grant funded through August 2029. Continuation of salary for the position after 2029 is dependent upon successful external funding awarded for the position.
