Your Job:

Hunter Hamilton is hiring a contingent HR Business Partner for one of our Austin HQ'd Tech clients! The role is remote, and will go through March 2025 with potential opportunity to extend. The preference is for this person to be located in CT or ET time zone, as many of the Sales teams are located within those time zones. Our client is a national tech client, with offices in Texas, Illinois, Connecticut, New York, Florida, and others. So it will be crucial for this person to be able to work within those time zones. The team is looking to have this person start in the beginning of the new year!

The HRBP will work directly with the Inside Sales organization to provide dedicated HR counsel and support to that business unit. Working closely with the broader HR team, you will demonstrate a broad scope of knowledge and experience and contribute proactively to the planning and day-to-day HR activities of the company.
The HRBP will be providing frontline managers with HR Counsel, including compliance, performance management, policy implementation, and training/coaching.



Responsibilities:





  • Primary liaison for people managers, offering guidance, coaching, resource identification, and HR coordination, ensuring effective team leadership and support.



  • Works alongside Strategy Advisors and COEs, delivering information, resources, and updates to businesses, while creating new program developments.



  • Serves as an advisor to people managers on talent development, organizational performance, engagement, culture, and leadership matters.



  • Offers people data insights, guiding managers through workforce planning and strategies, facilitating informed conclusions and trend identification.



  • Supports talent review process, ensuring managers understand the steps and complete activities



  • Identifies capability gaps in current workforce and sets strategies to help address future needs by partnering with the COEs



  • Coach managers and individual contributors on performance management issues and create/deploy performance improvement plans





Who you are:





  • 3+ years' experience in providing HR counsel and a full range of support services (HR compliance, performance management, policy implementation, termination, on-boarding and off-boarding, training and coaching, change management facilitation, etc.) to frontline leaders



  • You have experience assisting with planning/rollouts for HR programs and initiatives



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills



  • Proven experience working to improve programs and propose solutions to improve practices



  • Experience completing ad-hoc projects, reporting, and tasks as required with cross-functional HR/Partner teams
