Must have Valid Driver's License! Allied Universal is hiring a Business Continuity Coordinator. The Business Continuity Coordinator assists the Business Continuity Planning Lead with maintaining the Business Continuity Program (BCP). The coordinator updates plans, communicates with employees globally, participates in regular audits, and ensures that records are kept current. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure Business Continuity Program BCP records and plans are updated, and deadlines are met, works with plan owners and maintainers to ensure plans are updated and effective, coordinate with third-party system representatives to ensure business continuity system is operational
- Assist with emergency evacuation planning for local offices, work with Business Continuity leadership, plan owners, plan maintainers, and local stakeholders to ensure emergency plans are thorough and effective
- Perform regular testing of the various aspects of the BCP, assist with the regular testing of the BCP, through annual notification tests sent to every employee and through annual BCP scenarios conducted with each Regional Incident Management Team (RIMT), review results from these tests and follows up with managers, RIMT members, and other stakeholders to ensure a robust and current BCP
- Send communications globally regarding the BCP, help to coordinate with the Communications team to send communications regarding the BCP when necessary, assist with educating internal and customer employees about the BCP and the employees' individual responsibilities regarding the BCP
- Provide training for employees on the BCP, provide training to employees who are new to the BCP and to employees who need assistance with improving their local BCP
- Provide training to the appropriate crisis management team members on business continuity concepts and the tools available for developing and maintaining thorough and quality business continuity plans
- Provide guidance, support, and troubleshooting to system users during plan development, regular maintenance, and scheduled plan reviews
- Send reminder communications to teams as their plans approach review dates
- Escalate non-compliant plans/teams to Security Services management
- Research and interpret critical issues regarding business continuity
- Provide guidance, support, and troubleshooting to system users
- Create new plans or retire plans as necessary.
- Support the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) and the rest of Security Services as needed, including covering GSOC posts on occasion
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in business continuity, physical security management, or office administration
- Work history to include demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and meet work product deadlines
- Demonstrated above-average proficiency with computer skills to include Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.)
