Power Electronic Test Technician

Do you have previous experience in quality control in the manufacturing industry? Staffmark is hiring an experienced Power Electronic Test Technician for our client in Katy, TX. If you are detail-oriented and have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, and have a background with electrical engineering/manufacturing, this could be an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity for you!

Schedules available:

1st Shift Hours: 6 AM - 2 PM, Monday-Saturday

2nd Shift Hours: 2 PM - 10 PM, Monday-Saturday

Pay rate: $23 - $28 per hour (Based on experience)

Essential Functions:

• Perform visual inspections on all product lines.
• Complete production line acceptance testing including insulation tests and function tests.
• Troubleshoot and provide results in a timely fashion.
• Record test results and complete test reports, and paperwork per instructions/procedures.
• Report issues found on failed units.
• Assist with mechanical assembly tasks.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in the electric industry with a two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and experience in power electronics.
• Proficient in using standard test equipment (DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers) and Microsoft Office products.
