General Summary of Position:

The Configurations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing multiple teams that contribute to the order lifecycle, including the coordination and execution of system orders and physical device configurations. This role emphasizes maintaining a streamlined process flow, ensuring organizational excellence, and fostering high team performance. The Configurations Manager will provide leadership and guidance to ensure deliverables are met efficiently and accurately while focusing on optimizing workflows, developing best practices, and achieving organizational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

VoIP and Mobility Order Management:



  • Manage the lifecycle of VoIP and Mobility orders placed within internal systems, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Oversee the procurement and delivery of physical hardware related to VoIP and Mobility products.


Process Optimization and Workflow Management:



  • Develop, implement, and refine processes to streamline order placement and fulfillment.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.


Leadership and Team Development:



  • Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to team members to ensure skill development and job satisfaction.
  • Act as escalation point of contact for team both internal and external
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations to track progress and address areas for growth.


Deliverable Oversight:



  • Ensure all deliverables related to VoIP, mobility, and hardware orders are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Track and report on order status, metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure seamless delivery.


Stakeholder Collaboration:



  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding order management and configuration.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely procurement and order fulfillment.


Documentation and Reporting:



  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of orders, processes, and related documentation.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on team performance, process effectiveness, and key metrics.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in managing order processing operations.
  • Strong organizational and process management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • Familiarity with order management systems and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide various reporting analytics on productivity and team initiatives
  • Enable and Foster growth and development for each teammate
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to obtain government security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Management experience
  • 5+ years in a technical support related role, or equivalent experience
  • Experience public speaking
