The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our National Defense. Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). SPA has an immediate need for a Mid-Level Orbital Mechanics Instructor.

You will be part of a dynamic team of Space Operations experts to support all training activiites including:

Support the Lead Instructor as directed.
• Deliver industry/academica-developed or other government-developed training to educate the workforce on orbital mechanics in ways easily understood by the workforce.
• Provide feedback to the Instructional System Designers on training materials effectiveness and relevancy to the workforce.
• Create, deliver, and maintain a performance measurement system focused on training effectiveness.
• Present statistics on training effectiveness to senior government leadership as required.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 10 years of experience; or Master's degree in a STEM field with 8 years of experience
• Space Operations experience either in a NOPS, SOPS, and/or C2 center
• Instructor certification with experience teaching technical topics

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting space operations in the intelligence community
• Experience with Instruction System Design
• Programming experience (e.g. R, Python, etc.)
