Job Description

The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking an Ophthalmology Administrative Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned physicians, ensuring seamless daily operations and contributing to the success of the residency and fellowship program.

Key responsibilities include:

* Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage assigned physicians' schedules, including meetings and events.
* Credential Updates: Maintain up-to-date profiles for assigned physicians, ensuring all certifications and licenses are current.
* Residency & Fellowship Support: Assist with program logistics, including lecture coordination and event planning for residents.
* Schedule Coordination: Organize monthly on-call schedules and oversee the annual attending call schedule.
* Meeting Administration: Attend monthly resident meetings and accurately document minutes.
* Patient Documentation: Assist physicians with managing patient-related paperwork.
* Email and Communication Management: Oversee email correspondence and schedule meetings as needed.

Shift

Shift Type:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

(Clinical) Office/Administrative Hours:

No - Position will not have Office/Admin Hours

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $16-$19 /hour
