GENERAL SUMMARY
The role of the Special Order Designer II is to interpret customer orders and specifications based on the level of documentation required. This includes processing customer special orders efficiently through design and bill of material, to ensure a quality, manufacturable product delivered on time. Providing CAD Drafting support for SOE as required. Providing technical assistance on products to all departments, plants and customers. Coordinating designs with sales, quality and manufacturing departments. This position is currently eligible for DeZURIK's hybrid work schedule. WORKING CONDITIONS Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron and boots). Must have the ability to support extended business hours to meet customer business needs.
