    Location: High School
    Scheduled hours/days: 2-3 hours/day, 5-6 days/week.
    Qualifications: Candidate will have competed or coached the sport or activity at the high school or college level. Candidates will also completed all Northfield and MSHSL professional development requirements. Candidate will pass a criminal background check.
    Deadline: Open Until Filled -- EOE (12/02/2024) Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.

    Responsibilities: Accountable to: Head Coach, Activities Director and Principal.
    Primary Objective: To assist the head coach in selection, instruction, training and conditioning of all athletes/teams assigned to him/her by the head coach. Northfield Schools, the principal and Athletics/Activities Director places an expectation not only on the skills, abilities and commitments of its coaches, but also on their integrity and collective common sense in performing their duties.
    To demonstrate and generate among your staff and players and attitude of good sportsmanship and fair play by adhering to the Coach's Code of Ethics.
    To know and administer the policies, procedures and guidelines set forth in the Coaches' Handbook, Conference and NSHSL policies for your sport.
    To carry out responsibilities as designated by the head coach.
    To provide for the health, safety and well being of the team members.
    To actively work to create a culture free from hazing and initiations.
    To adhere to the starting and ending dates of your sport.
    To be aware of all MSHSL rules that would pertain to you and your sport.
