Position Highlights:

  • Position: Department Support Assistant III

  • Hourly Pay Range: $18.20 to $31.62. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Location: 701 S. Main Street, Lombard, IL

  • Full Time

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

What you will need:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred

  • Certification: Administrative school and/or certification, preferred

  • Experience: A minimum of two years of previous administrative support experience, ideally within a clinical environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

What you will do:

Under general supervision and according to detailed instructions, manage a high-volume of inbound & outbound calls (100 per day). Assist with patient and physician inquiries, patient appointment scheduling/re-scheduling, and manage MyChart online schedule. Perform medical record management for patient charting. Update department schedule and assist with general inquiries. Transcribe physician orders and input in MyChart. Perform insurance verification and prior authorizations for scheduled procedures. Order standard office supplies, along with faxing to physician offices and insurance companies.
