Georgia-Pacific's Container Board Division is seeking qualified professionals to consider for our Staffing Coordinator opportunity at the Cedar Springs Operations located in Cedar Springs, Georgia. The Staffing Coordinator will become familiar with Labor Contracts and other key components to create and publish schedules, manage payroll, and transform the employee experience.

Our Team

The Cedar Springs facility is one of the largest containerboard facilities in the country with three paper machines that make different weights of brown paper & containerboard paper. The Cedar Springs Mill, located in the southwest corner of Georgia is approximately 28 miles from Dothan, Alabama. Dothan is the 6th largest city in the state of Alabama with a population of about 70,000. From Dothan, you are only 90 miles from the beautiful Gulf Coast. You can easily drive to 3 capital cities in 3 1/2 hours or less. You are just 1.5 hours from Tallahassee, FL and Montgomery, AL. What You Will Do

* Create/Publish accurate employee schedules from start to finish on a weekly basis.
* Maintain time keeping systems data to ensure schedule accuracy and automation of tasks
* Assist in payroll inquiries, edits, and adjustments.
* Be an extension of the Human Resources team by answering employee questions, handling confidential documents, strategically interpreting the collective bargaining agreement, and supporting other Human Resources functions.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive material appropriately.
* Report on key business insights such as overtime, leave utilization, schedule oddities. etc.
* Coach supervisors on processes such as time keeping, job bidding, and vacation scheduling.
* Lead designated process improvements with growth mindset
* Provide strategic insight and suggestions for process improvements
* Perform other duties as assigned

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
* Proficiency using technology tools in an organization supporting the scheduling process, including reports
* Demonstrated capability with planning and/or scheduling
* Experience using Excel Spreadsheets to analyze and deliver data

What Will Put You Ahead

* Union experience
* Experience with Kronos time and attendance
* Experience scheduling staffing support based on Labor Contracts
* Experience with automated scheduling software
* Success implementing new technologies and/or software
